- The wine has a thick, completely opaque and slightly dull color of ripe cherries, which takes on ruby red shades at the edges. With the smell of marasca cherries in alcohol and bitter chocolate, the minerality grows in the glass with every spin and extends from the smell of wet sea rocks to notes of salty anchovies, Mediterranean macchia and herbs, rosemary, laurel especially, and cassis and ripe plum marmalade are indispensable decor for every serious plavac. It is finely elegant, polished and soft in the mouth.
