- High quality wine Pošip is obtained from grapes produced on more favorable positions of the Čara environment. It is golden yellow with greenish shades. Vivid aromatics of varietal characteristics of the almond flower, candied orange peel and maquis vegetation with tropical notes of kiwi and mango in the background. Medium full body, served chilled to temperature of 12 ° C with seafood dishes, fish and more spicy cheeses.
VINIFICATION AND AGING:
The grapes are de-stemmed and crushed with the free run juice fermented separately between 14-18°C in stainless steel tanks for 15-25 days. The wine ages in stainless steel tanks till May or June. During this period, it remains on the fine lees for 4 months. After bottling, it ages in the bottle for a at least one month before release.
