- Wine description: High quality wine obtained from the eponymous grape variety, which is also called Maraština and is cultivated throughout the Adriatic vineyards. In Čarsko field it achieves exceptional quality. It is yellow-greenish in colour, with fresh and discreet varietal aromas that in the Čara terroir are reminiscent of a fresh route, a fragrant Mediterranean meadow and stone fruit. It is of dry and shimmering, refreshing taste. It is served at a temperature of 12°C, and is served with crabs, white fish and young cheeses.
The grapes are de-stemmed and crushed with the free run juice fermented separately at 15°C in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The wine ages in stainless steel tanks till April next year. During this period, it remains on the fine lees for two months. After bottling, it ages in the bottle for a at least one month before release.
