Trijumf is a historic wine, known in European courts before World War II. The recipe was revived by Života and Aleksandar Aleksandrović in 1992, with the help of the old cellar master Živan Tadić. The blend includes mostly Sauvignon Blanc with small additions of Pinot Blanc and Riesling. The grapes are selected from the Oplenac vineyard in the Šumadija-Velikomoravska region, which is located at an altitude of about 250 m - 350 m above sea level. After hand-harvesting and fermentation in steel, the wine is aged in steel for about 6 months.
Its aromatic profile is intensely fruity with notes of gooseberry and tropical fruit, grapefruit and jasmine flowers, and at the end some aromatic herbs. The taste has a creamy texture and elegant character. It is mineral and balanced, with good fruit concentration and perfectly integrated acidity. The finish is long and slightly citrusy.
Food pairing: The wine is a perfect match with seafood, saltwater and freshwater fish, poultry, venison, veal, pork and lamb meat.
