- MERGA VICTA POŠIP is a white wine with an aroma of fresh citrus, stone fruit, yellow flowers and Mediterranean herbs. It is dry, medium-bodied, fine freshness, pronounced minerality and pleasant durability. Harmonious and refreshing wine. The autochthonous variety Pošip is a true jewel and it is our white variety with the greatest potential.
The grapes for this wine come from the older vineyards of Smokvica with the traditionally best locations for growing pošipa. All operations during cultivation in the vineyard are done manually. The grapes are muddled and macerated for several hours, and then pressed with minimal pressure. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with strict temperature control. Aged on fine lees for an additional three months. Best served at a temperature of 12˚C.
