- Excellent French-like cognac produced in orthodox monastery in Serbia, of complex fragrance and amber colour, aged in oak for 8 years and 3 years in bottles afterwards.
Orthodox monks of Kovilj monastery named the cognac Ison, after the back voice during the unanimous monastery chanting. It is mouthfull, buttery, of sweet ending, but strong and of solid character. After being mildly warmed by hand, it opens the palette of various aromas: vanilla-chocolate, caramelized south fruits and citrus, with balance and unrepeatable beauty.
