- Intense deep ruby color with typical purple reflections for this variety. That first visual impression is just a preparation for the explosion of aromas and flavors that follow in the glass. The aromas of plum and carob with the structure of this wine that is delicious and southern fiery with elegant ripe tannins that reveal the power and strength of this Plavac.
The grapes for the Plavac mali Elite wine come from our vineyard in Komarna, which is in an ecological system of cultivation and processing - without the use of mineral fertilizers and pesticides. The grape harvest takes place in late September with the aim of obtaining a full-bodied wine (14-15% vol.), and the selection of grapes is carried out already in the vineyard (average yield 0.5 - 0.7 kg per vine).
Gastro recommendation:
It is recommended to serve with grilled dishes, tuna pasticada, traditional stew and chocolate dessert. It is served at a temperature of 16 to 18 °C.
