- The wine is a brilliant golden yellow. The aromas follow the color of the wine itself; ripe apricots, fresh figs with tones of Mediterranean herbs. The taste is long-lasting, full, structured but with preserved freshness and elegance.
The grapes for the Pošip wine come from our vineyard in Komarna, which is in an ecological cultivation and processing system - without the use of mineral fertilizers and pesticides. We start the harvest quite early (mid-August), when the sugar and acid ratio is optimal, with the aim of preserving the freshness and fruitiness of the wine. Before arriving in the cellar, the grapes are cooled to 10°C before pressing and are protected from the harmful effects of oxygen during processing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks where the temperature is controlled at 12 -14°C. After fermentation, the wine stabilizes and clears and is ready for bottling (mid-March next year).
Gastro recommendation:
It is recommended to serve with gfish dishes, white meat and hard cheeses. It is served at a temperature of 10 to 12 °C.
