Natural homemade brandy, Her Excellency Stršljen plum brandy is produced from fully ripe domestic plum fruits, which further emphasizes the quality of this brandy. It is obtained in a traditional way, with a production formula dating back to 1950 from the Grmeč and Sanica areas.
The basic production process is based on careful separation of pits and detailed processing before the fermentation process, which is a feature of the basic quality in production. The specificity of production, in addition to high expertise in production, is also reflected in the method of preserving the plum brandy of excellence, where the importance of adequate storage in French Radoux oak barrels dominates, over a number of years. This is the moment that gives the final touch of refined aromas and deep finishes during tasting.
It is recommended as a digestif, after top specialties such as steak, veal under the broiler, quality sea fish, and smoked and roasted meat served with prunes.
