- It is a red wine with the aroma of maraschino, dried fruit, dark chocolate and sweet oak spices. The taste is powerful, complex, with strong tannins and herbal character. An old autochthonous Croatian variety (almost extinct) that traveled around the world - and the most famous version is known as Zinfandel in the USA.
The harvest took place at the end of August. Maceration with fermentation lasted 10 days. Natural malolactic fermentation. Aging: 18 months in new 225 L barrique barrels; a combination of American and French oak.
